Runnells Christian Church is a self-governed congregation.  Each year the congregation elects lay leaders to use their time, gifts, and talents to serve the church.

The Board is the church's administrative body.  It establishes church policies, manages church assets, and is the communication center for the three committees.

The Three Committees direct the church's ministry, including planning and implementing church programs.  The committees are:  The Committee for Congregational Life, The Committee for Community Engagement, and The Committee for Stewardship of Resources.

The Elders are elected to be spiritual leaders in the church.  Each week they participate in worship by offering prayers.  They also help the pastor visit the sick and homebound and offer spiritual support to the congregation.

The Diaconate contribute to worship each week by collecting the offering and serving communion.
